Replacing k&n filter

I recently bought a 2003 f250 6.0 with 300k on it. It has a k&n cai but I want to replace that element with a dry one. I fit the 6637 from riffraff on there but now the truck coolant and oil temps run about 20 degrees hotter, 195-205, with no load in the truck and my air filter light flashes periodically. Have any of you replaced just the filter with a dry one and kepted all the k&n tubing in there?

I am thinking an s&b dry filter, ebay link below, but not sure which will be a direct fit inside the k&n shroud. Thanks

At this point just cut your losses and replace the kit. You could always sell it on eBay. Aftermarket bolt on stuff is rarely ever bolt on anyway, and now you're trying to swap components between manufacturers. I'd just get the S&B setup, or just go back stock. CAIs don't do anything for a 6.0 below 500RWHP.
