I've searched everywhere and detailed info is hard to find.

We have a 99 Spartan engine, our rescue pumper. ISC 330 engine. 5 spd allison. The truck is painfully, ridiculously slow. Top speed on the truck is about 60 mph. 5.63 rear end i think. Not as much worried about top speed, but this truck carries our extrication tools and it sucks. The truck is always slow, but worse until you get it to operating temperature. And it only gets to about 150-160 degrees then. We bought a tuner from bowling green KY, can't remember the company but I can tell zero difference.

I don't know if anything is wrong with the truck, but we're at the point we would put money into injector, pumps, etc type stuff to try to modify it. It's getting to the point we're considering selling the truck, but it is exactly the truck we need as far as type of truck. If anyone can help me or send me to someone that can help, all I've ran into are dead ends, places that don't have parts, or the "we dont work on firetruck engines" or whatever. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks! Brian

Our closest Cummins Dealer is 3.5 hours away. I have to deal with local shops here, that's the best I can manage at this time.

I'm a little cautious on tuners considering this t&s doesn't seem to change anything. I've got a lead on a place, but seriously everyone acts like they've never heard of an ISC 330 around here.

I'll call them tomorrow see if they're open.
