Great forum just a ton of information. Did a search but could not find anything.
I have an 03 7.3 F350 4X4 crew cab dually automatic 3.73 gears with 110,000 miles.
At 70 MPH and 2,000 RPM I get a resonating sound that continues all the way up to 85 MPH and beyond. Either letting off the gas or if in cruise going down a hill the noise subsides to nothing. Taking off and going thru the gears with RPM going over 2000 there is no disernable resonating. There is no vibration and engine runs fine but that resonating can get anoying. Seems louder on the drivers side then passenger side. Run at 68 MPH and roughly 1900 RPM no resonating at all. Any Ideas? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
