When I changed my oil, I put in this - now Wally world does not sell it and Napa does nto have it. Anyone know of a chain type store that carries the rotella synthetic? If not, is it ok to mix with whatever I find local in synthetics of the same weight? Both napa and wally have mobile though I could have sworn that I got rotella from napa in the past. Does checker carry it?

Most of the Walmart stores in my area carry it. You may want to ask the person in the automotive department at your local store to order it in for you. If it is not a good seller in your area they may not stock it, but they can still get it or you.

My local Checker stores have Rotella. Another thing to try is look in the Yellow Pages for "Lubricating Oil Distributors" Bet that have it too.

Thanks, will try a few of the suggestions. Napa has the rotella, but not the syn rotella - same thing for checker in my area. I asked the wally why they don't stock it anymore and they said " I don't know - switched to mobile" . Wierd. I am starting to use oil now at around 160k, so am thinking inj rings going. May end up getting some from swamps ( o-rings not inj).
