I posted a few times within the past couple of days about my truck running rough untill it is completely warmed up and I check my GPR and it is working properly and I also bought a computer tester to test the computer in the truck but I ran a diagnostic on it and it wont even connect to the com system on my truck. Tried it on a another car to troubleshoot the hand-held com being bad and it is not the computer because it worked perfect and showed me the info on the car and everything. Now I dunno if running this diagnostic will even help because there is no check engine lights on. So basically It runs rough untill the engine is completely warm, has little to no power at all. I am goign change the oil and the oil filter right now because someone mentioned it might need an oil change because the HPOP is very sensative to the oil temp. So I am going with a lighter oil and new kind of filter. Any suggestions?

Dollars to donuts you bought a scan tool that won't work on a PSD. It takes a pretty high end unit to be able to pull codes and do the needed tests on our trucks. Either that or the diagnostic port doesn't have power (check the cigarette lighter fuse - shared with diagnostic port power).
