Rough Idle

I recently replaced the return lines and injectors.

It seems to sound a lot quieter (less knock), better pedal response, and a little more power. But one thing I did notice is that in gear at a stop I'm getting a little vibration from the motor. It's consistent, and I'm wondering if the timing is off a little.

Any thoughts on how to correct this???

Seems a little smoky on the white side and not black. It definitivly doesn't smell like antifreeze too.

So I'm guessing it's a little retarded, if I advance it, should it go towards the drivers side or passenger side.(pretty sure it's the pas side) and also how far do I go.

I would take it to a shop to time it, but I'm going to replace the IP at some point this summer, so I'll wait till then.

At cold idle (advanced) it seems to run pretty good, but I normally don't drive it until the advance shuts off. It's a little noisy at start, but seems to quit down after about 60 seconds or so. I don't know if this is an indicator of the current timing.

Also, even before I changed the injectors, I noticed it seemed to loose a little bit of power after it had warmed up, so I feel the IP is about shot, especially as it leaks some too.

I just want it to run OK for the time being.

Thanks Pete.
