Searched and only came up with surging issues while driving/engaging throttle.

My issue occurs when I come to a red light and have my foot on the brake. While idling and waiting for the light to turn green the RPMs will climb up slightly, maybe 50 RPMs, intermittently. Every now and then it'll jump enough to cause the truck to want to move forward. It acts exactly as if I'm pushing the accelerator pedal to go, except I'm not.

Thought ICP or IPR but truck runs awesome while driving and those have been replaced relatively recently.

TPS seems to be more of an issue with pushing the pedal and a delayed response or no response at all. I've never had this issue.

Want to make sure I can narrow it down before I hit the parts store.

The PCM is reading a pressure drop and surging to recover before stall. Usually the ICP, and just because its new doesn't mean its not bad. Read a lot of threads on hear about bad after market ICP sensors. There are two types, and I can't remember which was no good. One has a wrenchable head, the other wont fit a wrench an is kinda round, has more flats. I think that's the good one. I have the wrench one, and it does it some times too. Usually only when cold, and if I stop quickly like the red light caught me sleeping and I stopped faster than normal. My ICP actually dropped to 300 and almost stalled then surged and recovered. Changed the ICP and its better but I ended up only finding another wrench one darn it. SO it still did it some times, only below 150 degrees. Switched to 5w40 synthetic, and its cured. Thinner oil helps the ICP read better I guess. Don't know. It made no difference in my pressures, but worked great. It is one of the recommended cures for this issues If you search the forum. Usually happens in colder climates. I'm in BC Canada, so get plenty of that.
