Maybe you guys can let me know what to keep an eye out for when I delve into the front end on my truck this weekend.

I am getting a pretty loud rubbing noise that sounds like typical brake problems from the general vicinity of the front left wheel. The thing is that I only get it SOMETIMES when braking and other times I don't. Brake feel is good and smooth even when it is making the noise. I get the noise nearly every time I turn sharply to the left with or without brakes and sometimes when I turn sharply to the right.

Does this sound like wheel bearings to you guys or something else?

I suggest removing the hubs, and check the nuts that hold the rotors on. Mine were about to come off. There is supposed to be a metal ring thing that keeps the nut from backing itself off.
