can you run without one without damaging anything, about to pull tranny and t-case in a couple weeks and thought I would go ahead and get some of the stuff out of the way and replace u-joints, going to take off skidplates, front driveshaft , but need to drive it until I do my LUK

Your sig. says 4x4. For whatever it is worth, I have had mine completely off, and it runs just great without it. You, of course, cannot engage your 4x4 w/out it, however -- but, I think you knew that, eh?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

yea I knew that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif Im just a shadetree but not a moron /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

but I didnt know if the front was a slip yoke at the t-case, didnt think by looking at it but better safe than sorry /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've running around without since 3 months ago when I did the D60 swap. Just make sure that you leave the front Xfer case yoke in place.
