Here we go again,

The class II hitch on my 03, F-250 SuperDuty, with the 6.0L PSD is already starting to rust!

You know what I mean, The ugly brown coating that took over the same way it did on my 98 Expedition after one year... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I guess I'll have to take it off and have this one Powder Coated Black just like I had to on the Expedition!

I'm thinkin the "Supplier" who makes these for FMC takes the easy way out when they just have em Black Oxided and call it good?

Don't think yours is rusted? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Crawl underneath and have a good look. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Then go to your yellow pages and look under: Powder Coating

At least it only costs $50 bucks.

Oh well, What should I expect for $45,000 dollars, A good coat of properly applied paint? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

I feel your pain there. I would use some of that rhino(choose your brand) on it. Thats what I did. Mine has yet to rust since. Total cost $25 dollars. I just dropped it off and told them when they had alittle extra spray it. Might sit a week until they do a truck, but you savea couple pennies. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
