Just had Ford's CSB 11B23 flash performed at my local dealer. First impressions are not much of a difference other than the LOM shows anywhere between 19.4 and 20.2 MPG. I know Ford tightned some tolerances for potential fault detection but WHAT did they do to make an apparent/alledged mpg increase ?
Curious, and I highly doubt it but has anyone heard of someone doing a baseline dyno before update and after update ? For mpg variances I know timing and/or fuel maps must have been altered. Wonder what it did to HP/TRQ ? I wonder if they were negatively impacted to provide "more protection" to our engines....

That argument was brought up on another board. If they lessened the HP/TQ rating would that be justification for a class action since you bought the truck expecting 350HP/650TQ? The flip side to that is would someone be complaining if they increased it? If not, then the first could be considered void as well. Maybe Ford could even ask for more money since you only paid for 350HP/650TQ and now they are giving you more. :)

To answer your original question, I don't believe anyone has done that.

Surely one of the tuners could look at the update and make an educated/experience based guess as to whether or not the HP/TRQ went up or down.
