There are plenty of Hotels around here....Not too bad for Houston. Depending on whereabouts you live. I plan on being there but I will be a little tuckered out since I work nites that weekend, but I really want to get her dynoed just for reference.

I believe there is a Holiday Inn right at the corner of Perrin Beitel & 410, behind the Dennys (about 10 minutes away from the Dyno) but your only 2.5 hours away. The nice part about the last dyno their was that they let the owners of the vehicles run them but the owner of the company is or was not the most pleasurable person to deal with. There will be mostly Dodge trucks there as well. Hopefully the guys from Mobile Diesel Performance will be there with his 550-600ish HP Dodge truck.

If this still bothers you,give me a call and I'll discuss it with you... I spoke to Chris afterwards and my understanding was that all was ok. The orginal mistake was my fault and I take full responsibilty, I dropped the ball on asking if we could do work on trucks in the parking lot as I had told Chris I would. As I said, if you and I need to talk then call me; this wasn't Wayne and Tracy's fault, nor was it Chris'!!!!

I think we need to keep stuff like this off these posts. Wayne is a stand up man and would do just about anything for people. Hope to have a great turn out...

Let me rephrase my answer then, the owner was not the most pleasurable to deal with concerning myself. It only still bothers me because I tried to apologize for the missunderstanding and compensate him for his parking lot usage. While trying to do this, he tried to make my look like an idiot and belittle me in front of a customer, so I just walked out. I don't apologize and then take what he had to dish out lightly but it was completely my fault for not asking for his permission personally. Just so everyone knows, I did the intank mods in the owners business parking lot with the assumption that is was okay and it was not. <font color="red">This was completely my fault for not asking</font> but I did try to apologize and compensate him for whatever he thought the usage of the parking lot was worth and the owner would hear nothing of it He wouldn't even hear what I had to say without making a big deal out of it. That's what these forums are for, to let people know what may or may not happen or how a certain vendor/ business owner may treat them. He does have a great shop with some really nice cars and his staff did a great job concerning the dyno event, can't take that away from him. I never blamed Chris (if you mean Smiley).

Speaking of Chris Smiley, has anyone talked to him latley?? I have wondered how is he doing. He completley dropped off from here and seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Poor guy has a house full of girls, so I can relate to that!!! lol!!

I have not been able to get on here to post it, but we felt it was in a more centralized location, for Houston, Dallas, Waco, as well as San Antonio people.. Good evening guys and Happy Father's Day too all!!

I am still alive everyone!! SOrry I have have been a stranger, as it was said before, I changed jobs and also sold my truck so I had been with a diesel since last August. I just bought an '85 F250 with a 6.9 this week so I guess I am back!! Does feel good to be missed alittle though!! HAHA So, I see Chris was able to put plan this event which is cool! I am glad that yall are still doing stuff here in town. I might try to come on out, but I am not putting the bucket of rust onto the dyno since a lawn mower would have more power. Anyhow, good to see yall all again, atleast in cyber world!!

For the record, the house is full of little girls....but it is fun!

the dyno was this past weekend.. We will be doing quite a few more dyno events at the facility, as we were told we were "The funnest group they ever had".. I will let y'all know when we get another event planned, so keep in touch!
