SCT X3 software

I have Vista without 64 but I got it to work on my XP 64 bit processor first. I have not tried to use my Vista laptop with it but they do communicate.

Call them, they are very helpful.

I had the same problem. The first time I plugged it in the splash screen came up like it was supposed to. Then after I tried to upload the firmware updates the splash screen refused to come up. I had to uninstall and reinstall the SCT software on my computer before it would work properly and the software I downloaded off the SCT site did not work. I contacted Eric at ID and he sent me a link to software that worked.

Quick question, are you holding the key you have to hold while plugging it in to make it go into diagnostic mode?

Sorry I couldn't be more of a help. I know how frustrating it is to want to do something as simple as hook a device to a computer only to have it repeatedly fail. I am a little surprised at SCT for building something so finicky. Enjoy the Extreme Street, I need to go buy new tires now.
