Hey Midwest guys.
Now that everybody is recovering from IRP, maybe the 10th some can come and pull at Donnellson Ia. The pull starts at 5 pm, be there around 4pm. There is a street diesel class and an open class. Rules can be seen here.http://leecountyspeedway.com/truck_pull_rules.htm

Now before everybody gets all bent out of shape on the saftey bell housings and blankets, they will give you a 1 event grace period. You can pull the 10th, but better have the safety equipment if you show up for the October pull. This applies for the "Pro Diesel" class.

Donnellson is south of Iowa City on 218, just a few miles north of the Missouri Border.

Last month there was a good street diesel class, but only one "pro" truck. I am hoping there are more this time. I pull in the gasser class, and the show was very good last month. Pulled a bunch of trucks and it was non stop pulling all night. Hope to see you there. If you make it down, I have a red 93 CTD hooked to the trailer and a rough 75 Dodge that will hook in the stock street, and pro street gasser classes.

We may be able to come. I could't find a schedule on the website? What time do things get started?

There is no schedule on the webcite, but the pull starts at 5pm, be there by 4 pm to sign in and weigh. The link was just for rules. Sorry I see now my link did not work. I'll try again- Pulling rules There now the link works.

Where in Iowa are you from CBSuper Duty? It sounds like you may be from Southwestern Iowa if you are building a 2wd puller. I know there are lots of those running around Diagnol, Clearfield, or even Chariton. Its the only place in Iowa I know that 2wd street trucks are so popular.

You guessed it. I know there is a club somewhere called Iowa 2x4 or something similar. I will be building my truck to pull with the Nebraska Power Puller (most likely) and they run mostly in Nebraska but swing over to IA for a couple pulls. We will have to see. I will have my work cut out for myself trying to get it done by next year.

TTT one more time. The pull is tomorrow evening. Hope to see some smokers there. I have a first gen dodge diesel hooked to the trailer. It is red, as is my pulling truck. Say hello if you come down.
