I went to install my new seats. A new mount was sent with the seats to replace the old seat track that mounts to the cab floor.


The million dollar question is what size torque/ star bit fits the bolt that holds the seat mount to cab floor?

What the heck is a torx plus? Size? Doing this in the afternoon when the wife and kids are out.

I took a allen wrench and ground it to fit with a dremel.Don't know the size

The size is actually a T55 plus. Why they made a different size, who knows! I am sure it all boils down to $. I have used a T55 on mine before. I am not sure where to find a T55 plus. I was told this was the size by the Ford dealer. Maybe they have the socket available, or check a tool truck vendor.
