Interesting posts…I am a Ford guy and this is my 6th Ford truck 2nd diesel. I've had my 2011 F250 4X4, 6.7, CC, FX4, Lariat since May 24th. Love the truck. After searching for answers to my truck issues, power loss, wheel bounce, slightly out of alignment from date of delivery, and diving to the right when breaking, there seems to be a number of recurring issuse. All miles, 2600, are general highway and city driving without towing.

I'm hopeful those that have gone before me and brought these issues to light have caused the Ford engineering department to work in overdrive.

The power loss and wheel bounce issues are frightening, especially when my wife and two young boys in the truck.

I will post an update and let you all know how the dealership (Jordan Ford, San Antonio, Texas) handles the issues and what they offer as solutions.

I’m really glad you’re OK after that experience, and I’d like to reach out and help with resolving your concerns Hollywood Dave. In order for me to do this and arrange for you to be called, I would need some details. You already posted your dealer name and mileage, so you would only need to PM me with your contact info and VIN for me to assist you.

Abnormal tire vibration

I have experienced on several occasions erratic steering wheel vibration. I have had it back to the dealer (Brock Motor Co, Trenton, NC) as well as to my tire dealer. Dealership found nothing. Tire dealer read blogs on the internet and replaced the shock absorber that mounts above the tire rod ends. That was three days ago. My steering is now so bad that I've had to park the truck and now have a tire that appears to be ruined do to the excessive wear. This is one of many problems I have had with this truck. :jester:
