so i got a 4 inch lift on my 96 powerstroke and the acceleration seems to now be a little shaky or wobbley(sp) what do you all think it could be.Im runnin 35 inch BFG AT's for the rubber

what kind of truck is this, 96 powerstroke tells nothing about cab, wheelbase, bed configuration, etc.....



did you shim the carrier bearing? You may just be experiencing driveline vibration after the lift.

sorry bout that

it has a crew cab, 8 foot bed, not sure on the wheelbase,everything stock except the lift and wheels and tires. anthing you want to know just ask. not sure about the carrier bearing, a local 4x4 shop did the lift

on the CC LB the rear driveshaft is a two piece with a carrier bearing supporting the two shafts.

If they raised the rear, they should have spaced down the carrier, to maintain the joint angles.

I "think" most say 1/4" spacer per 1" of lift.
