I need some help here guys.
After much aggravation (due to a stripped out bolt that holds the shift tube to the actually shifting mechanism) I have finally gotten out my broken tube and plunger. Now, here I am trying to put the new one in and I have completely forgotten which way the pins go into the tube. Do I insert it through the top or through the bottom?
I tried the top but it didn't want to go in but a few cm's. Is it just a little harder going back in? Or did I insert it from the wrong side?? Can someone help me out please...

Need to know what you're working on. Year, Model, etc.

Once you post that, we'll move your thread to the proper forum. The DieselStop News is not the place for technical questions.

93 7.3l club wagon where are glow plugs?

There is a fellow by the name of Roan65 who actually posted the procedure for what you are trying to do. That post is no longer available, but in the link above, he gives his email; so maybe you can contact him and ask him your question.
