Shifting Colum Issues

Good afternoon, the other day as I was pulling into my driveway and went to put my 2005 F350 into park, the shift column got jammed before it made it into park. As of now, the column just slides and doesn't feel like it engages on any gear and definitely wont go into park. I read the other threads and checked the two torx screws under the dash and they are tight as can be. I can manually put the truck into neutral and start it from the driver side of the transmission but cannot for the life of me get the key out or into park.


What the heck may be causing this? Hopefully it is an easy fix. Look forward to hearing possible solutions. Be advised I am not very mechanically savvy.
