Like post asked, should the EBPV be working when it is 70+ degrees out? I asked this a few weeks ago and never got an answer. I though it was supposed to work only under 45 or so.

Any suggestions? Mileage has taken a plunge.

Oh, it does shut off properly when you tap on the brake. Works properly, but awful warm outside to need it.

EBPV stays actuated until a certain oil temp is reached regardless of MPH.
Tapping the brake doesn't release EBPV, only cause the truck to turn off hi-idle.

Hi-idle is not the same thing as EBPV. Hi-idle can work seperate from EBPV and vice versa.
