Is this a problem?
I have an 05 6.0 with about 75k on it newer oil cooler and bulletproof egr cooler about (6 months)
I have an edge set to zero just to monitor temps
sct tuned by gearhead
so here is what i have noticed over the last 30 days boost seems to climb very fast just a touch of the peddle and it seems to be at 10psi lay into it and its over 20psi i really do not remember it boosting that fast before? On the highway at 65/70mph boost is about 7 to 10 psi is that normal?
part 2
today while highway driving the ect always floats around 188 to 194 (new stat)
now the eot seemed to be bouncing around a lot, it would jump from 196 right up to 202 then go back down to 188 I seen it in the ranges of 188 to 203 did not really matter if I was on the throttle or not. does this seem normal? it just seems to jump around and i do not remember it doing that before. Any thoughts what it could be? it was about 60 deg today.

Part 1: Discuss this development with your tune writer.

Part 2: Oil temps will be all over the map. To check your EOT/ECT delta, you need to get your truck up to full operating temp first. Then you go out on the highway, set your cruise for 55-60 MPH when you find a long flat section that will take about 15-20 minutes to run. Somewhere near the end of that long, flat highway run is when you check the delta. Any other reading means nothing. Go too fast, up a hill or tow something and the oil temps will rise quickly.

Part 1.. sounds pretty normal for tune, esp a hot tune. The turbo spools much faster with a tune. Also EGTS climb fast and hot with a tune, as you should well know. Hopefully you have an EGT probe to monitor your truck, a MUST when running a tune.

I'd have say on part two you may have a sensor or t-stat issue. My ect stay very even driving in town, esp on the highway.. may not move more than +2 degrees over 192 empty truck.

My EOT once bounced around(a lot), i took the sensor out and cleaned it.. stays very consistent now, must of had a small piece of dirt or something in it.
