okay so i have a 2002 f-250 powerstroke diesel 7.3L. My overdrive light keeps blinking on and off and I can mash the gas pedal all the way to the floor and my truck doesnt want to go anywhere hardly. I put a new tranny in it that I bought from another wrecked f-250. That didnt work so i figured it was the computer. I put a new computer in it, still didnt solve the problem. I don't want to take it to the ford dealership. Took it to autozone and got the guy to scan it but because i put a new computer in it the code was cleared. Could it be the speed sensor causing the problem?

auto zone cant get the codes ..you need a PSD scanner ,,if the light is flashing ,the code will be there ,,it would be worth the cost & the time to have it scanned ,,you'll then know where to look ...

could be the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) on the rear pumpkin
