Me and my buddy installed the Sonnax/ Tricumm in my truck last weekend and it has been shift rather hard in my opinion from what ive read it should. It is actuall kinda jerky. I was wondering if we could have done something wrong. The only thing that didn't go as planned was that both the stock springs on one side fell out at one time. They had slightly differnt coloring and we werent sure we put them back in in the same order they fell out does that matter?

which gears are too firm? The spring kits I get from Sonnax have three springs, there is only one that is different from the others. The set up in my VB uses the factory outer springs, white in the 2nd and 3rd, blue in the 4th. The 3rd and 4th also have a plain inner spring. It almost sounds like the counter spring on the line mod valve got left out if all are too firm, mainly at light and part throttle. Shoot me a link to the spring kit you used if you can and maybe I can sort it out for ya.
