Several members here stationed at Fort Hood. And if something isn't available in Killeen, you're just a hop, skip and a jump from Austin. Check out the Central Texas Powerstrokes bunch. They'll be able to answer all your questions. Their website is down right now, so contact one of our sponsors that is a member of their club - Bill Agha at [email protected]

I reckon you can still get that there Rotella oil at the Walmart, no more filters from them from what I hear. If they don't have it there's like a parts store on every other corner, O'Reilly is my first choice as far as that goes.

JaPetersen you are kinda funny...

I sure didn't get that from his post. I think you rubbed it in a little bit too much, and didn't really answer his question.

Of course everyone knows that up here in Alaska, the sun doesn't come up for 6 months and then doesn't set for 6 months and everyone lives in igloos. Just try to order something over the phone, and get told "We don't ship outside the United States". What the heck are those buildings just down the road that say US Post Office on them?

Weldor1, I live just down the road in Copperas cove about 5 miles from Killeen. I will be getting backfrom Korea on Thursday. Killeen isnt just close to Ft Hood, Ft Hood is on top of it, youll see, it can be a very busy place. Especially with both divisions home from Iraq right now.

As far as your qustion on where to buy things, I have not been able to figure that out yet either because I bought my truck while on leave in March then came right back to Korea. So I willbe doing that also.

Do you know where you are going to live and all that already?

Welcome, to the HOT state. You can find Oil and Oil filters at your local Wally World.

The best price for Fuel filters, is on-line. A few of the sponsors offer them at great prices, specially when you buy 3+ at a time.

Your local Autozone has the Mobile 1 ATF. I am in Georgetown, about 40 minutes away (South) from you. I do go about once a month up to the area, as my In-laws live close to the base, and both have just finally retired from the Service.

My lovely wife and I are planning a trip to Sonoma Valley to visit a good friend of ours that is getting his first brand of wine made this next month or so. He and his wife keep asking us to move over there, and I keep telling them why leave this great state.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Send me a PM and I will give you my number as well.
