I remember seeing somewhere the drain tube that bolts to the bottom side of an H2E, and has a steel flex line for a drain.
Anybody know who sells these?
Thanks.

Just thought I would post this I was looking at all the crap that was laying next to this broke @$$ cummins the other day and was amazed at the oil drain coming from the turbo. It sure does look alot like the one used in the H2E kit . Maybe it would be worth looking into. The truck is an 04-05 2500 Dodge.

L10 Cummins has a couple of versions of that tube as well. They actually are kinda weak but they work ok. Not as good as the ones with a solis tube and a hose coupling it....

Actually stoped picked up the tube from the 5.9 cummins in the 2500 ram and breifly looked at it and tossed it back down in the pile of parts . It does appear to be as stout as the one in the h2e kit.

I don't care if it's a direct fit to anything, I just need it to bolt to the turbo and 'flex drain' it somewhere.
So, I should look at an '05 dudge cummings drain?

04.5 and ups have that flex drain.

Another option is go to Lowes or Home Depot and go to where they have the water heaters, they will have a 48" 5/8ths flex gas line with fittings that are 1/2" NPT to 5/8" gas. That will be long enough to where you could run it to the pan if you want. If you want one shorter a plumbing supply house will have the same thing down to 12" long.

Those are copper and may be prone to vibration cracking. Good idea to get things running and then come up with something better. The steel Cummins L10 ones are enough trouble. The best set ups I have done are a flange that fits the turbo with as much steel ridgid tubing as possible, then a silicone hose, then another tube. I think a guy could go to a hyd shop for the tubing and bending. One tip is if you can get hooked up with a heavy duty truck wrecking yard, if they let you wander the scrap pile and core pile you will be amamzed what you will find that no one cares about, dime a dozen. How about 3" CAC tubes in every config possible???

Those are not Copper, they are SS flex with a nice tight flex to them, they will not crack.

Yes sir it seemed kinda heavy to be copper . I often look at stuff for future projects. I always seem to have the gears in my head turnin thinking how to build a better mouse trap and cheaper also LOL! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bleh.gif

Oh yeah I do think the drain on a late modle cummapart is real close to that of the H2E one. I did kinda half ass measure the one that was just installed on a fellow TDS members truck. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
