I read on here one time that someone sells caps that can be put over stacks to keep the rain out when your truck is sitting still? Anyone know where I can get a set at?
Thanks but I don't think that will work on Mitre cut stacks, plus that is designed to be put on and left on. I just want something I can put over them if it starts raining.
Oh then just use the coffee cans or some type of plastic bag both of those should be really cheap. Do you have your stacks on yet if so lets see some pics.

Just find a bottle that has a diameter the same as your stack cut it in half and then tape it on when it rains /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
I used to run them on fleet trucks, but at idle they go clang, clang, clang(much bigger engines, more time between piston lifts)...went with curved exits...
The Mitre cut stacks are the best looking, never seen a cap that went well with them though. I remember someone drilling a small hole at base of pipe to let water escape. What would be the downside to that? Just have to occasionally check for carbon/soot plugging hole.
