I had decided on stg 2's but in some reading I wonder if that will be a bad idea for towing heavy (up to 14k) stock turbo for now but will do a d66. I do have an intercooler and a will have my tw chip tuned to the injectors, but do most of my heavy towing on very, very steep roads (1000 ft in a mile!). Anyway I want the power but want to use it so would stage 1's be a better choice? And how hard is it to change nozzels down the road to upgrade to stage 2's if I go with ones from the start.
Thanks

with an intercooler, i'd say it shouldn't be a problem. i've towed 9k up 6% grades at 65mph and kept the egt's managable

I am hopping. This is one of the steepest roads in the country. Higher altitudes usually mean higher egt's as well. Less O2 to burn the fuel. I am trying to do everything right as I go.

Thanks Caryt. Yea BTS is also in the works for eary summer. I have 3:55 gears so I can go in D when towing and go 70+mph but was hopeing I could tow in OD after I put in the trans most of the time. I have found the 3:55's work against your egt's over the 4:10's in my other trucks.
