Hi all,
I have an 05 F450, CC, 6.0
After the truck sits, I have to crank for an extended time for it to start. The oil PSI gage comes up almost right away. I changed the fuel filters and the upper one was full of fuel.
Also, on occasion, when I come to a light, stop or turn in an intersection where I have to lift off the pedal and the RPMs drop under 700, it stalls,
No leaks, oil is full. What do I look for
I was thinking maybe fuel pump??
Thanks in advance

1. Get a monitoring device (best value is the ForScan Lite download to a smartphone with an ELM327 OBDII adapter - WiFi for iOS and BlueTooth for Android). Total cost is around $40.

2. Monitor when cranking:
rpms
FICM MPower
FICM VPower
FICMLPower
FICM Sync
Fuel Pulse Width

3. Monitor (at cold idle and hot idle) :
ICP pressure
ICP volts
ICP desired
IPR % duty cycle

3. Post results
