I haven't been able to find any threads similar to my issue.

When I start my truck sometimes (most of the time) it turns over very slowly-it may or may not start (this may happen two or three times). Then I turn the key off and try to start it again and the starter spins like a top and and fires up with force. It's almost like the first time or two it only using one battery. It does this hot or cold.

About two months ago my batterys drained, I suspect from water getting on the gem from some heavy rain. I just replaced both batteries this week. Deka 665mf

I've cleaned the grounds (terminal and on the engine) and the positive terminals. I didn't clean the positive on the starter or anywhere else.

Thanks, Rick

So after I wrote this, figured I'd better check the positive side. Cleaned and put a little dielectric grease on the connections and now it's turning over like it should. I would've just deleted my post but I can't.
