For some time I've been hunting down a suspension clunk in the front end. You could feel it in the floor and I was convinced it was the sway bar bushings.
Also been considering a new steering box tired of the slop (been driving mama's car and it's night and day) Decided since there is an adjustment on the existing box, no harm in tightening it (Did this about 5 years ago). Bing-bada-boom... ALL the front end clunk GONE!:thup: I've never seen anything like it. The clunk was very pronounced and other guys have concurred that it was a bushing (cause the BJ's are only ~20mi old) also I never felt anything through the steering wheel. Go figure.:icon_wink:
