who has done this, what part did yall replace, the lower section of mine is trashed i dont know if i can just repalce the lower section or just do everything???? i havent taken it apart yet but the secvtion above the steering box you can move back and forth a couple inches.

The section above the steering box is the intermediate shaft. You can change just the rag joint at the bottom or the whole shaft. I did the whole shaft which took mee about 5 minutes. One bolt at the steering box holds the splined connection and there is one bold under your dash on the other end. Once the bolts are taken care of then you can push the shaft together since it telescopes.

yup, what jdman1 said, 1st time i did it, was suprised how easy it is, never tried messing with the bottom part though, just replaced the whole int. shaft
