Well, to make this story short, i have replaced the whole front end, pitman arm, steering box, and new allignment and still the truck pulls right at around 45+ ( not because of the crown) and the steering is really loose. What else can i do?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

I have a similar problem. I rebuilt the axle from end to end, all new steering linkage, new gear box, new I-shaft and rebuilt the column. My truck is still all over the road, wht gives?

Check the bushings on your leaf springs and your track bar, either can make the front end loosy goosy.

I'm going out on a limb here. Have somebody else drive it down a straight road and follow it. You are looking for signs of the truck dogtracking. If the answer is yes, then look at your rear spring pack and measure your wheelbase on each side.

Front spring and shackle bushings are likely shot. Replace with polyurethane from Daystar, Energy Suspension, or the like, and you'll be amazed at the difference.
