When should they be replaced? only 112,000 on the engine and it runs like a top, has all kinds of power. The injectors and lines are painted gray.

I was always told...if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Watch for leaks around the return line caps. If they're not leaking then let sleeping dogs lie.

ULSD has a tendency to dry out seals though. I suspect your WVO system is keeping that problem at bay. Injector coking may be a problem as time drags on running with WVO however.

I agree. Power is good, no leaks. Leave it be.

Ok that was my feeling, just let it be. But would I notice anything besides power loss if it starts dropping injectors?


And the WVO, UMO, Bio, leftover LSD, Power Service, and 2 stroke oil make the whole system nice and lubbed I'd hope /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. I've been trying to prevent coking by not letting it idle excesivly or run constantly at the same Rpm. Starting and stopping on diesel helps some I would suppose
