Well, I am really becoming a major advocate of manual transmissions as I seem to have more odd issues with one of the best automatic trannies out there in relatively very little miles. Have had the tranny for over 1 1/2 years now and only put maybe 25k miles on it. The first 20k was with a single disc Suncoast and had it swapped out with a triple disc when we did some warranty work on a leaking seal a few thousand miles ago. Addressed all the issues I had (Thanks Suncoast) and now I am developing a hellacious clacking when the Excursion is in Park, louder then the noisy ass injectors and power steering pump. I know it cant be good and not looking forward to another 3 days, another 800 mile round trip and hotel room. I am not even sure what could be causing round 3 of my tranny woes. Any ideas?
