My brother in law has a friend who is selling a superchip's 1842 for $150 if I want it. Its new, he got it on a horse trade with other items. Question is, are these comparable to a dealership code reader, not a parts store reader? I wont be using it for anything other than a scanner so I don't want to drop the money and it not be able to read my 7.3's codes.
