Hey guys,
I'm looking for opinions on this as I am thinking about sending my programer in for the newer tri tune flash to help out with trans shifting. If any of you have compared the two programs, may I have your feedback. I am interested in hearing about performance gains, if any, and if the transmission lock up / shifting patterns are changed. I have an 02 model. I tried to search the archives but was unable to figure out if there is a search function there??? Thanks for your help in advance.

Im going off memory here:

The 1700's made tranny changes.
The two program 1705's DO NOT make tranny changes.

I dont know if the three program 1705 makes changes.

I know my truck would chirp the tires with a 1700 loaded, but the 1705 has a really weird shift flare during the 1-2 shift, and thats even AFTER a sonnax/tricum upgrade and Mobil-1 synthetic.
