How do you determine if a 1705 Micro Tuner has 2 or 3 programs.

when you go to load it in your truck there will be two or three choices, other than that I don't know.

When you are in the "load" a tune mode, you will have three choices. I had a 1705 max micro tuner and only had "tow safe" and "hi-perf" tunes, I really liked that tuner alot.

I'm sorry. I should have explained myself a little better. I now have a 05 F-250 so I can't try to load it. I am trying to sell it but I don't remember if it had 2 or 3? It does say Max Micro Tuner on the box, dated 12/5/02.

My tuner was also manufactured in 02, I'd bet its just got two programs...

i was thinking the 1700 was the early version with only 2 and the 1705 was the later version with 3

the early 1705 models had only 2 programs, what made them different than the 1700 was the 1705 has the ability to read DTC's
