SVO is virgin, never been used oil. WVO is waste veggie oil from friers and the like. It needs to be heated and filtered before it can be ran. Kind of a vague explination, but that is it in a nutshell.

I just dump it straight into my tank - no mods, no heating the oil (filter WVO to 10 microns). I have been running it for 2,500 miles with NO PROBLEMS.

Again NO MODS. Truck starts fine, even at 60F. I also brew bio-d. E-mail me if you have questions.

I have been down that road, and it did not work so well for me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I wound up with regualrly plugged factory filters due to coagulation of the oil from not being hot enough, and eventually a dead factory pump. If it never gets cold, say below 60, you might be ok. For me, who likes to go skiing, to the desert(well not anymore /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) and everything inbetween, not so much. Plus I strongly believe that runnig WVo cold causes gradual coking of the injectors. Not trying to argue, just sharing personal experiance from a NW point of view. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

Appreciate the comments. I alternate between tanks of WVO & bio-d to keep thinks clean. The filters do get gummy but I have not found anyone (besides yourself) who would actually admit they have tried this AND post their results. When it is colder I will have to run bio-d.

Again appreciate your thoughts.
