Just curious, twice I have seen a stock looking all white 94-97 SC LB F250 around Medford Oregon the only give away is a "Swamped" sticker on the tailgate seen him last night but he got on I-5 before I could catch up.

Anyone know who it might be? Not too many Dieselstoppers in this neck I don't think anyway.

I am looking seriously at opening a bar in the Medford/ Ashland area early next year. If it happens you'll soon be seeing me in the area. I love that part of the country.

NO way really? What kind of place would it be? We need a decent one around here but choose medford please I don't like to hang in ashland that much. We need someone to take a real truck to the strip out here. I love it here too if you need any location info let me know.

I might take you up on that. My business partner and I (if you could call us that cause we're just two guys tired of workin' for "da man") are planning on a late summer trip to scout out locations and work on the real estate issue. Real estate is sky high in some areas of Southern Oregon right now and it's a big hindrance for us.
Specifically we are looking for an old style garage/ gas station w/ see thru roll up doors. Somewhere between full on downtown and a slightly more industrial area. Of course the station would need to be currently closed down/ out of business.

Do you know of anything like that?

Tell me about it, the last couple of years things are getting out of control on real estate here. Bare land was cheap til 2 or 3 years ago but it must be all you foreigners driving up the price wanting to move to our neck of the woods /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I am a native but I moved around the country for 8 years and finally regained my senses and came back and won't ever leave again. The only thing missing is some diesel performance places other than the ones just selling SCMT's and a little edge. I've been trying to talk some folks I know with their own shops into getting into the business but little luck so far. We have a lot of PSD's, duramaxi's and CTD's around but all using off the shelf stuff that's why I was surprised to see the sticker no that truck with oregon plates.

If you go at it right I think there is a good niche to fill here in town in the area that you are looking at. if you drive up and have dirtbikes/quads make sure you bring them and come ride with us if you plan it right you can come up for this Dune Fest

You should take a drive up here to Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. We have a dodge running in the low 10s. A couple 4X4s running in the mid to high 11s. I think I've turned in about the fastest PSD time at a 14.81. That is very soon to change though! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif There is a race next weekend where the fastest diesel is supposed to show up but it's up in Mission BC. The guy goes by comp on TDR. Supposed be down in the 8s! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Sun if you make it back up this way defineatly give me a call! I wish I would have known you were up here a couple weeks ago we could have met up.

That's the problem Geoff, everything jumps right over us and goes to Washington. Which I like cause it keeps the population down but then we lose out on local entertainment and suppliers nobody thinks there is enough of a market here and maybe they are right but I want it all.
