Anyone got rid of their leaf springs and set their trucks up to run only air bags? I seen a dodge that had done something similar and liked the idea. Would be nice to have a lift and be able to drop back down close to stock to get into a car wash. Brain storming right now though... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

My father in law's F350 has air bags. You can see it here

He's had it on for a couple of weeks now, no rear springs in sight. He'se very happy for the setup thus far. He's running a 6" lift, 37" ProComp Extreme AT tires and ARB Lockers front/rear, with airbags.

Airbags are nothing new to these trucks. What's as good or better than that is the 4-link suspension that goes with it.
Kelderman has been doing these for a few years, they have the premier kit IMHO.

i would have agreed until my buddy bought one of there kits for his Dodge Dually. That thing was a pain, terrible instructions, and you had to weld, and smoke ax just about everything to get that stuff in there. Long story short, Tim wants his old springs back. No matter how many times we have checked and rechecked for leaks, it is always sitting crooked in the morning. I was going to go with the 4 linnk in the rear for my new truck until tim bought and we installed his. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Parking garage too. My stock suspension BARELY fits.

Just for fun, for comfort, and for increased load capacity, I'm having Kelderman do my front and rear on the 24th - keep ya posted - you stay tuned too, fordt - I'll ask 'em why a Dodge install would be so difficult - evidently, Ford install's a simple affair.

Am retaining leftover spring metal as it makes outstanding knives. Gotta Katana and a Kukris made from leaf springs by artisans in Nepal - excellent work!
