Has anybody done this in a 04 Lariat, with the medium parchment interior? I want to replace the lid on my plain centre console with the fancy wood grain and chrome plated clip, one that the 04 Lariat LE's have.

I know that this has been done before, but I was unable to find anything by searching. My dealer won't give me part numbers without a VIN number, and since I don't own a LE, I can't give them a VIN. Can anybody tell me what is inolved in the swap, and any part numbers if possible?

Hit up eBay. Get your self a VIN number off there. Cant help ya on the part numbers, but if all you need is a VIN number then eBay will work for ya.

Thanks Kanman for the tip. I have now been able to find a VIN number for a 2004 LE (checked ebay, none there, but managed to find one for sale in a local paper with VIN). So I guess I will visit my dealer next week and see what it looks like I will need parts wise for the swap.

If anybody does have the part numbers, I would still appreciate them. Anybody else interested in this and wants the numbers too, just post here or PM me and I will let you know what they are when I find out.

I went with a wood lid from a Ex a few years ago and it just bolts on. Same as the plain lid. The wood EX lid I have does not have the chrome clip.
