I have both, so I think I can say that I "trust" the T-19 a whole lot more than I do the ZF. The ZF is alluminum, and the tolerances change in that transmission something fierce due to expansion and contraction of the case, and I've heard of trucks in severe duty where the aluminum has actually stretched and cannot be rebuilt. However, the ZF has one thing the T-19 doesn't. And that's a real killer when it comes to MPG and engine life. If only they had made a T-20 or something. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
