If you don't need an overdrive, I'd prefer the T19. Its wicked strong and has a cast iron housing. Plus, the bellhousing and tranny are separate which makes it much easier to remove and replace into the truck. The ZF is a good tranny, but it's all alum, and the bellhousing and housing are one piece. If you crack the bellhousing, you got to get a new tranny.
