Tachometer Switch

This may be in the wrong forum... any moderator please feel free to move it.

Ok... I need a switch that will activate at a certain RPM. I don't care if it is NC or NO; I'll make it work. My application is for an exhaust brake. I would like it to cut out below 1000 RPM. (see truck details is sig)

I have seen tachs with shift lights, which might work, but what I don't need is another gauge; I have enough cluttering my dash as it is.

Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

i thought you weren't supposed to use an exhaust brake w/ the GV OD?? actually, i heard you weren't even supposed to downshift w/ a load.
