I finally took the plunge and bought the following mods from USdieselParts.com:
MBRP 4" Stainless, Turbo back exhause and tip
Edge Evolution
K&N Performance intake kit
ISSPRO EGT guage and install kit
ISSPRO 0-60 Boost guage
A-Pillar dual guage pod

Now some "newbee" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif guestions:

What extra stuff will I need to install the boost guage? I could not find a "kit" like was offered for the EGT guage

Will I need any special tools (other that patience) installing the exhause system?

Will I have to add a temp probe bung on the down pipe?

Does the Evolution come with enough clear instructions for a novice to use?

I do plan to have a local fab shop build an airbox similar to the AFE out of stainless sheet metal. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The parts you need to install in in the Map sensor line will cost under $5. This is definatly the easiest place to install it, but it i not the most accurate. Usualy within 1-2# but not exact.

A brass T with 1/4" pipe threads, 2 small hose clamps, and 2 1/4" brass pipe nipples. Cut the line to your map sensor, install the nipples and T then screw the line for the gauge into the 3 position on the T. Be sure to seal the threads with some sort of thread sealer.

and

6-Speed Fluid Change to Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF

and

POWER STEERING flush with more synthetic ATF

You really should put your pyro pre-turbo. It is much faster reacting and IMHO a better/safer way to monitor your EGT's.
