My F450 has absolutely no rear view capability due to compressor/fuel tank. I would like to add a rear-view camera with a wide-angle lense that would ideally show the tow hitch in the frame to aid in backing and connecting a trailer (bumper-pull pintle hook. not a 5-er.)

I don't mind spending some money (around $300)to do it right, with a good reliable weatherproof camera with wide-angle lense, AND a *good* highly visible LCD monitor.

Recomendations?

I have the savv setup. It is nice. 5" monitor in my rearview mirror. Mine is the older setup...now you can get 3 5" monitors in your rearview mirror... They are transparent so you can still see behind you. You can buy the setup on ebay for around 250 or so.

Wireless rear-view camera and monitor system allows users to view the area behind the vehicle
Reduces blind spot when reversing vehicle
This versatile product works with most cars, vans or SUVs
Wireless transmission - Camera mounts at the rear of the vehicle, connects to the vehicle¿s tail lights and transmits images to the viewing screen mounted on the dashboard or visor
Camera mounts onto license plate - the camera mounts discreetly onto the lower border of the license plate
Monitor mounting locations - the 2½" colour LCD monitor can be mounted in various areas inside the vehicle (i.e., dashboard or sun visor) and connects to either the 12V outlet or can be hardwired in
