After much research and board lurching I settled on a Bank's Six Gun. Then, thought better of it and came close to getting a Bully Dog 6 pos. and a guage package. Then, I was offered a good discount on the Edge J/A. Well, with some more board lurching I decided to call Jody. He patiently answered all my questions. He sold me on his work without even trying. GREAT PEOPLE. Of course, most of us Carolinians are, but they are real "home folks" !!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Got the chip for UPS Fri. about 3pm. Waited patiently till my exhaust/guage connection got home from work and called. The 4" exh and guages DIDN'T come !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif
So, I will have to wait till Tues. till they get here to try out the 4 pos. DP tuner. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

I took my time, cleaned the PCM connection with electrical contact cleaner and scotchbrite and fingernails and installed. I could not wait so I slung the switch over the steering column and headed for the road.

Man this thing SMOKES!!!!! Well, maybe ROCKS is a better word.The ECONO mode is mostly clean, just alittle smoke at hard acceleration, but man what a difference. TOW smokes some and performance pures it on.

I am dying with anticipation till I get the 4" and gauages so I can really put my foot in it. I can already tell that I will have to be carefull in performance mode so as not to break the tranny.

Thanks Guys !!!! I learned about Jody from you and am ticked to death with what I got and love the idea of customization in the future. Why give your money to a corpotation when Jody does it better out of his house!

Big thanks to Jody for taking the time with me on the phone. (You too Diane!) I expect I'll be setting a live tune appointment up in the next year or two. I hope you and Steven work out a deal. I think he can sell alot of chips for you. BTW, Hope you had a good trip.

IM going be calling him and ordering a chip Wednesday next week once he gets back into town. I already can't wait!!! IM still trying to decide on the program choices, Is he selling 4 or 6 position chips? Or both? Thanks Jim

4 and 6 are standard.

LOL, I guess you could say that, but it is much more fun to walk over a ricer in a 1 ton 4x4 cc lb /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Its a differnt type of speed I guess. The bike is easy to leave alone(mods), but the truck is a differnt story. Jim
