I'll probably take delivery the week of the 27th. Having them hold it for a week to run it through a complete audit, then having Navistar reps go over the the motor making sure there are no issues. I'll definitely have pics when I get it, can wait, feel like a little kid.

Do you mind giving the information on WHEN you ordered, When you got your VIN and maybe just a brief chronological "time line" on your process? (I know, I know, too much court TV) Thanks!

how did you arrange that? being able to walk the truck thru production?
Now that would be worth a plane ticket to KY and a few nites in a motel to be able to witness that.
I'm here figuring out the spec list for my next truck.. How do i spec the 'full blown production tour' as well?

Crimstide, I ordered the truck May 6th., got the Vin# May 31st.,then had the truck built June 15th..I will try to take delivery around June 28th. or 29th. if I can get my ducks in a row by then.

Fatdog, I work there in skiled trades. That was time well spent. Everyone on the line was great. I worked there for 12yrs. and really never payed any attention to assembly, just worked on the equipment to get it running again. But following the truck through the whole process-body, paint,and assembly, then firing it up on the end of final---awesome. I was smiling through the whole thing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif.
