[Fast Forward]

Not much action on the Excursion Post and I was wondering if you might re-consider combining that forum back with the 99 and up PSD's?

Thinking similarities are endless especially the engines which is what this is all about?

There are posts about the engines in particular. A lot of guys want to talk about the trcuks and accessories. You all should leave the Excursion seperate. Some guys want to talk about trucks and not fancy Excursions.

The point is that they are all powered by 7.3 liter power stroke diesels and the only difference is the bodywork.

Next time you are at a dealer, please look inside a '00 SD and a '00 Excursion and tell me what the difference is forward of the 'B' pillar.

For a time, a lot of Excursion people wanted their own forum, they got it. I know the vehicles are highly similar in terms of mechanics, but since trailering, offroading, and accessories can be highly different.

Maverick: What is so fancy about an Excursion?

SP: Thanks for your edit. Rush of blood, I'm afraid.

SP2: There is a bunch of engine/transmission information on the regular site that is informative to those on the Excursion site. The downside is?

As my wife (Excursion owner to be) quite rightly points out, the PSD family runs: regular cab/super cab/crew cab/LE/Excursion.

Is does not look like the regular PSD site will be overun with Excursion owners any time soon.

Well,

I for one will be found on the 99 & Up site when the new Fancy Shmancy Excursion

arrives if I have a question involving anything that the Excursion and Super Duties have in common. If it's an Excursion related question, I'll post it over there.
