Not sure what section this belongs into but I am thinking about making some antiwrap bars for my SD.

On the big truck articulation isnt as big as a concern as on my jeep or landcruiser(not going to be taking this thing off road) so heres my thinking,

On the older Chevys they use to have a Antiwrap bar that would mount off the ubolt/perches and go to the inner frame. Makeing something like this would be super easy and not hang as low as the ones on the bottom of the axle. My question is how effective would this design be? vers the long bars that run under the axle to the frame.

Will work fine as long as you're not hammering on it all the time and you spread out the frame anchoring point more than just one single mount. The bars on the market are built so that when the axle pinion wraps upward, the bars are pushing on their frame anchors instead of pulling or ripping. If the force is spread out enough at the frame it should not matter to you.
